Job Description

As a Sustainable Building Designer, you will be at the forefront of our projects, focusing on innovative and sustainable architectural solutions. You will be expected to collaborate closely with clients and the design team to ensure projects remain within budget while adhering to environmental regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural plans and 3D models that focus on sustainability.
• Utilise simulation software to assess energy performance and environmental impacts of designs.
• Write reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders on sustainable design aspects.
• Guide junior designers and interns in sustainable building practices and design principles.
• Liaise with government and regulatory bodies regarding sustainable building guidelines.
• Analyse existing buildings and provide recommendations for enhancing their sustainability.
• Assist in obtaining green building certifications such as LEED or Green Star.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Architecture
• Master's degree in Sustainability is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in architectural design with a focus on sustainability
