IT Support Specialist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an IT Support Specialist to assist our users in overcoming technical issues. Your role will involve diagnosing system problems, providing solutions, and helping to implement tech systems that enhance our operational efficiency. A passion for technology and exceptional problem-solving skills are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to users in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity, software, and hardware.
• Help maintain IT documentation for procedures and processes.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs or replacements when necessary.
• Actively participate in IT projects to upgrade systems and services.
• Monitor IT systems and respond to alerts when issues arise.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on all IT equipment.
• Assist in the training of new staff on IT systems.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and equipment.
• Provide feedback to management on IT support services.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree is preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
