Chemical Innovations Inc. is looking for a motivated Chemical Engineer to assist in the design and implementation of new chemical processes in our Johannesburg facility. You will work in a collaborative environment aimed at improving efficiency and quality across all stages of production. Your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will be key to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate lab and field testing of new chemicals.
• Implement innovative technologies in chemical processing.
• Evaluate the impact of production changes on product quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with safety and quality teams.
• Take lead on troubleshooting process failures.
• Assist in the recruitment and training of new engineering staff.
• Consult with clients about product development projects.
• Provide leadership during inspection and audit processes.
• Monitor industry trends to stay ahead in product development.

Requirements

Education

• BSc in Chemical Engineering
• MSc or PhD in a related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in chemical manufacturing and development environments
