We are looking for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team in East London. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to animal welfare and veterinary best practices. You will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, performing surgeries, and promoting preventive health care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and emergency examinations of animals.
• Utilize diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests.
• Perform surgical procedures and post-operative care.
• Develop client relationships through effective communication.
• Monitor and improve clinic operations and efficiency.
• Advise clients on nutrition, behaviour, and care for their pets.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
• Stay updated on current veterinary practices and trends.
• Ensure that all equipment is maintained and operational.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and support a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or equivalent
• Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mixed animal practice
