We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing data pipelines and architectures that support our analytical projects. You will work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data is accessible and usable in delivering valuable insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and construct data pipelines for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with data scientists to understand data needs.
• Maintain and enhance data architecture to support various projects.
• Implement data quality checks and monitor data usage.
• Develop documentation and help train team members on data processes.
• Work with cloud technologies to manage and scale data solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or relevant field
• Master's degree is desirable

Experience

• 4+ years of experience working with data-driven applications
