Job Description

Seeking a compassionate Social Worker to work in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for assessing client needs, offering emotional support, and facilitating access to services and resources, all aimed at enhancing community welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Document and track client progress towards goals.
  • Develop community partnerships to enhance service delivery.
  • Conduct research on social issues affecting clients.
  • Support clients in developing life skills and resilience.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to foster collaboration.
  • Prepare reports for funding and program evaluation.
  • Educate clients on their rights and available resources.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and government services.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Master's degree in Social Work is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in community service roles
