Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our Bloemfontein team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining our IT infrastructure and providing support to end-users. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring and installing new systems, and ensuring efficient IT operations across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Manage user accounts and permissions on relevant systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on IT systems and networks.
• Collaborate with the IT team to enhance system configurations.
• Document processes and create user guides for troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
• Participate in training sessions for new staff on IT systems.
• Assist in software installations and updates.
• Support inventory management of IT equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in IT Support or Computer Science
• Bachelor's degree in IT is a plus

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a technical support role
