We are seeking a Clinical Research Associate to join our dynamic team in Pietermaritzburg. This role involves overseeing the execution of clinical trials, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to drive impactful research outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of clinical trial sites.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation to regulatory bodies.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols.
• Support data management and analyze results for reporting.
• Liaise with vendors and other partners involved in trials.
• Conduct regular meetings to ensure alignment and progress.
• Ensure timely payment and support for participating sites.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical research experience or related field

• Project management
• Statistical analysis

Certifications

• Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA)
• GCP Compliance Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines: Familiarity with international guidelines pertaining to clinical trials.
• Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems: Hands-on experience with EDC systems for data collection.
