General Practitioner

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced General Practitioner to join our growing healthcare team. This role involves managing patient consultations, developing treatment plans, and providing preventative care. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a range of medical conditions in patients.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Conduct patient follow-ups to monitor treatment efficacy.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients when needed.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately.
• Participate in case discussions and staff meetings.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate qualifications in Family Medicine or related field are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in clinical practice

Certifications

• Fellowship in Family Medicine (if applicable)

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
