Job Description

As a General Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the health of our patients in Cape Town. Your responsibilities will include examining and diagnosing patients, providing treatment plans, and conducting routine health screenings, all while ensuring excellent patient satisfaction and care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patient health.
• Manage chronic health conditions and provide appropriate treatment.
• Advise on preventive healthcare measures.
• Foster strong patient relationships and encourage regular follow-ups.
• Utilize electronic medical records to document patient interactions.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team for better patient outcomes.
• Conduct health education sessions in the community.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress throughout treatment.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate qualifications in Family Medicine or related field are advantageous

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience as a General Practitioner

Advantageous
