We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Pietermaritzburg. In this role, you will conduct examinations, perform surgical procedures, and ensure the overall health and welfare of our animal patients. Responsibilities

• Lead the examination and treatment of animals, ensuring diagnosis and treatment protocols are adhered to.
• Manage surgical cases and guide lay staff in providing post-operative care.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their animals' needs and treatment options.
• Conduct workshops and health checks in the community.
• Enhance clinic operations through participation in administrative tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mixed animal practice is an advantage
