Job Description

We are looking for a Clinical Research Associate to join our team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will coordinate and oversee clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and study protocols. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage clinical trials from initiation through to closure, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Conduct site evaluations and initiate studies in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and maintain study documentation, including informed consent forms and Case Report Forms (CRFs).
  • Collate and analyze study data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with investigators and site personnel to facilitate smooth trial operations.
  • Support the development of patient recruitment strategies.
  • Lead audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Actively participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and challenges.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine or Public Health
  • Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous
Experience
  • 5 years experience in clinical trials or drug development
