Pharmacist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing health consultations, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations. You will play a critical role in patient care and medicine management.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy.
• Participate in clinical trials and research studies when necessary.
• Assist in the implementation of pharmacy technology systems.
• Coordinate with insurance providers for medication reimbursements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Further qualifications in pharmacology or healthcare preferred

Experience

• 3+ years experience in pharmacy and clinical settings

Technical Skills

• Medication therapy management
• Clinical assessment

• Empathy
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (if required)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
