Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Claims Processor to join our Durban office. In this role, you will evaluate and process insurance claims, ensuring adherence to policy provisions while striving to deliver outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have a sound understanding of insurance claims procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Review incoming claims to determine eligibility and coverage under the policy.
  • Coordinate with adjusters and other professionals to ensure fair and thorough claim assessments.
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding claim statuses and decisions.
  • Identify patterns or trends in claims that may require further investigation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the claims process.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance claims processing skills.
  • Support risk management initiatives by sharing insights gained from processing claims.
  • Ensure all claims are processed within regulatory time limits.

Requirements

Education
  • Matriculation Certificate
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in claims management or customer service within insurance
