Job Description

As a Telecommunications Equipment Tester, you will be instrumental in assessing and evaluating telecommunications equipment to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Your role will involve conducting thorough inspections, performing various tests, and documenting results to support product quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform systematic testing of telecommunications equipment as per established standards.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects or irregularities in equipment.
• Conduct thorough functional and performance assessments.
• Maintain comprehensive testing documentation and reports.
• Engage with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment challenges.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to quality and safety regulations throughout testing.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing procedures and practices.
• Calibrate and maintain testing tools and devices.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
• Research and implement the latest testing technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar field
• Certification in Equipment Testing or Quality Assurance is highly regarded.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment testing or quality assurance roles.

• Proficient in Test Management Tools
