Job Description

As a Spotter, you will ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and equipment. Your primary responsibility will involve directing drivers and giving hand signals within designated areas, contributing to a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide clear direction to drivers to avoid accidents.
• Train new employees on safety standards and hand signal protocols.
• Participate in safety meetings and training programs.
• Assist with emergency procedures when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience

• No prior experience required, but experience in logistics or transportation industry is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Good observation skills

Soft Skills

• Team player
• Ability to work well under pressure

Certifications

• First Aid certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in logistics or transportation industry: Prior work in logistics can be beneficial.
• Additional language skills: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
