Job Description

As a Furnace, Kiln, Oven, Drier, and Kettle Operator, you'll play a pivotal role in our production process. Your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain equipment used in soap manufacturing, ensuring that production targets and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Control and adjust the temperature and humidity levels during the drying process.
• Conduct troubleshooting on equipment when issues arise, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to verify product standards.
• Participate in training sessions for new operators and provide mentorship.
• Engage with team meetings to suggest process improvements for efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical qualifications in manufacturing are advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in operating industrial dryers or similar equipment

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
