Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Tax Specialist who is passionate about taxation and compliance. In this role, you will handle the preparation and submission of tax returns while advising clients on effective tax strategies. Your expertise will contribute to the financial success of our clients as you help navigate the complexities of South African tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement tax planning techniques to minimize liabilities.
• Review tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Educate clients on tax strategies and compliance issues.
• Participate in preparing for tax external audits.
• Serve as a key resource for complex tax-related inquiries.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Conduct training sessions for junior tax staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Master's degree in Taxation is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in taxation roles

Certifications

• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
