Job Description

We seek a skilled Charter Boat Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of the boat, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, and delivering excellent service to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operation and maintenance of the charter boat.
  • Create engaging itineraries for guests and ensure a memorable experience.
  • Conduct safety drills and ensure preparedness for emergencies.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to promote services.
  • Monitor weather conditions and ensure safe navigation.
  • Provide training to new crew members on operational procedures.
  • Manage guest feedback, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee inventory and maintenance of onboard supplies and equipment.
  • Report to the Operations Manager with operational updates and issues.
  • Participate in community engagement and environmental sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher Certificate in Maritime Studies or related field
Experience
  • 5 years' experience in the tourism industry is advantageous
Technical Skills
  • Advanced navigational instruments usage
Soft Skills
  • Team management
Certifications
  • First Aid Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent
