Job Description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Logging Workers to join our team. In this role, you will be involved in various logging operations, including tree felling, transportation, and maintenance of logging equipment. Safety is our top priority, and we are looking for candidates who are dedicated to maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain logging health and safety standards.
• Assist with site preparation for logging activities.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of forestry operations.
• Engage in regular safety inspections of equipment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
• Participate in workshops related to forestry and safety practices.
• Facilitate the recycling and disposal of logging waste.

Requirements

Education

• Some post-secondary education in forestry or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in logging or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Heavy machinery operation
• Safety compliance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of local forestry regulations: Familiarity with environmental laws and regulations related to logging.
