Billet Straightener

Job Description

As a Billet Straightener, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery used to straighten, shape, and size metal billets. This role requires keen attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Control the operations of the billet straightening machine.
• Inspect product quality throughout the production process.
• Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Keep work area organized and clean.
• Engage with team members to meet daily production objectives.
• Record and track output and quality data effectively.
• Participate in ongoing training and development sessions.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles in daily tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Technical/ vocational training in metalworking or related fields is preferred.

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent
