Job Description

As an Emery Wheel Worker, you will operate and maintain emery wheels to grind, polish, and shape materials like metal and plastic. You’ll ensure quality and safety standards while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up production lines for various jobs using emery wheels.
• Ensure quality control measures are in place and adhered to.
• Assist in maintaining the inventory of materials required.
• Perform end-of-day cleanup of machines and work areas.
• Implement best practices for safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet production schedules.
• Provide feedback on production processes to management.
• Engage in problem-solving to enhance production efficiency.
• Maintain documentation as per compliance standards.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent

Experience

• Experience operating different types of grinding machinery is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of safety protocols

Languages

• English: Fluent
