Job Description

We're on the lookout for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems and infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs and electrical schematics.
• Review and approve project designs created by other engineers.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
• Liaise with clients and contractors for project updates.
• Review project plans and ensure all requirements are met.
• Implement energy-efficient practices in design and execution.
• Prepare project reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
• Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Professional registration with ECSA is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
