Join us as a Chemical Engineer and leverage your expertise to drive our production efforts in Nelspruit. You will be responsible for designing and implementing chemical processes, conducting experiments, and collaborating with team members to improve product quality and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and implement chemical processes.
• Lead initiatives to enhance production processes and safety standards.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and analyze findings to inform decision making.
• Collaborate with R&D to develop new products and formulations.
• Participate in risk assessments and process safety reviews.
• Maintain thorough documentation of process changes and experiments.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Support product trials and scale-up processes.
• Work closely with quality assurance to meet product specifications.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering registration is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the chemical manufacturing sector
