Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Logistics Coordinator to oversee the supply chain processes for our operations in Cape Town. The role requires someone with strong organizational skills who can manage logistics schedules, inventory control, and coordinate with suppliers and customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations in transportation and warehousing.
• Track shipments and manage documentation for logistics activities.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast inventory needs.
• Evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Certifications in logistics management are a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles

Technical Skills

• Logistics Software
• Inventory Management Systems

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
• Certified Logistics Associate (CLA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
