Construction Manager

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Construction Manager to oversee our projects in Durban. The Construction Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing construction activities while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of construction projects.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Oversee safety and compliance on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality assessments.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Prepare progress reports and documentation.
• Lead team meetings and communicate with stakeholders.
• Resolve site issues and conflicts as they arise.
• Control costs and optimize resources.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture is preferred
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 8+ years of substantial experience in construction management
