Urban Planner

Job Description

We are seeking an Urban Planner to enhance our team in Pretoria. The role will require you to evaluate urban spaces, develop comprehensive plans, and implement strategies that support sustainable development. You will work closely with city officials and community members to ensure that all projects reflect the aspirations of the community while adhering to regulatory frameworks. Responsibilities

• Research zoning laws and regulations to guide project development.
• Draft planning documents and policies for urban improvement.
• Participate in public consultations and community outreach programs.

• Provide expert advice on urban development to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies or a similar discipline
• Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field is desirable

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in urban planning or similar roles
