Public Health Officer

Job Description

The Public Health Officer plays a vital role in assessing and addressing public health concerns in Johannesburg. You will work closely with community stakeholders to develop and implement health initiatives focused on improving outcomes and reducing health disparities.

Responsibilities

• Establish partnerships with local organizations to enhance public health efforts.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars on health topics.
• Evaluate the impact of public health programs and recommend improvements.
• Utilize social media and other platforms to promote health initiatives.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders regarding public health issues.
• Participate in health research projects and studies.
• Conduct health inspections and assessments as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in community health or related fields
