Job Description

As an Interior Designer with Design Creations, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity in a variety of projects. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure that all projects are designed to meet client expectations and delivered on time, blending artistic vision with practicality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients from concept through project completion.
• Develop comprehensive design plans that balance aesthetics and functionality.
• Source products and services that meet design specifications.
• Coordinate schedules and budgets with clients and suppliers.
• Inspect completed projects to ensure quality standards are met.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships in the supplier network.
• Prepare project documentation and presentations for stakeholders.
• Stay updated on sustainable and eco-friendly design practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or similar qualification
• Registration with a professional design organization is a bonus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience managing interior design projects

Technical Skills

• Revit
• 3D Rendering Software

Soft Skills

• Project management
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• RICS Accredited Professional
• Green Building Council Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
