Job Description

As a Veterinarian at our clinic, you will oversee the health and wellness of various animal species, delivering high-quality medical care. In this role, you will collaborate with other veterinarians and staff to provide supportive care, ensuring all animals receive the best treatment possible and that their wellbeing is prioritized.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in clinical rounds and collaborate with other veterinarians to discuss treatment options.
  • Oversee anesthesia protocols and manage pain relief in surgical patients.
  • Perform diagnostics such as blood work and radiography as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulations and standards of care.
  • Support and promote a positive team culture and working environment.
  • Manage stressful situations with compassion and understanding.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referring specialists for advanced care.
  • Implement protocols for reducing hospital-acquired infections.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification in veterinary medicine or specialisation is a plus
Experience
  • 3-5 years of hands-on veterinary experience
