Job Description

As an Actuarial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assessing risk using statistical analysis and mathematical models. You will be responsible for evaluating financial risks and contributing to our clients' financial success through effective forecasting and strategic advisory. A keen analytical mind and a solid understanding of mathematics and statistics are essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial products and recommend adjustments based on market analysis
• Assist in developing new products that align with market demands
• Conduct risk assessments to enhance the company’s decision-making process
• Continuously improve methodologies and analytical techniques used for risk evaluation
• Mentor junior analysts and provide training on best practices in actuarial science

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance
• Graduate degree in Actuarial Science is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a relevant actuarial role

Technical Skills

• Excel Modeling
• Statistical Software (R, Python)

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving

Certifications

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
• CERA designation is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent
