Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Senior Accountant to enhance our finance team in Johannesburg. This role involves comprehensive financial management tasks including preparing documents for audits, overseeing tax submissions, and ensuring compliance with South African accounting standards while contributing to strategic financial projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial closing processes and ensure accurate reporting.
• Conduct variance analyses and prepare reports for management.
• Coordinate with internal teams for data gathering.
• Support financial audits and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Prepare client invoices and process payments.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders about financial matters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Professional accounting designation preferred

Experience

• 5 years in accounting roles with experience in financial analysis
