Structural Engineer

Job Description

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for developing structural designs and plans for various projects. You will collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure safety and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design meetings and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Implement innovative engineering solutions to design problems.
• Maintain thorough records of project changes and updates.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical matters.
• Prepare cost estimates and project reports.
• Ensure sustainable practices are followed in all designs.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials for construction.
• Develop risk assessment and management plans for projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SAP2000
• Revit
• Structural Design Codes

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
