Join our Pretoria-based team as a Cybersecurity Specialist where you'll be responsible for designing and implementing robust security protocols. You will play a critical role in protecting our clients’ information systems from cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain documentation related to security policies and procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend security products and services.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Communicate security risks and recommendations to management.
• Work with law enforcement during security investigations as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of cybersecurity experience

Technical Skills

• Firewalls and VPNs
• Security Audits

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with penetration testing tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Metasploit and Nmap.
• Knowledge of threat modeling techniques: Ability to recognize and mitigate potential security threats.
