Job Description

As an Underwriter, you will play a vital role in assessing financial risks related to insurance applications. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments to determine appropriate coverage levels. Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound judgments are essential to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk analysis and provide insight into underwriting decisions.
• Work closely with the sales team to support client relationships.
• Prepare and present risk assessments to management.
• Develop and implement underwriting guidelines and policies.
• Participate in claims reviews and assess risk exposure.
• Provide training and support to junior underwriting staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Insurance qualifications (e.g., AFA, ACII) preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of underwriting experience
