Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating logistics operations from dispatch to delivery. Your problem-solving skills will ensure that shipments arrive on time and within budget, contributing directly to our operational success.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute logistics strategies to ensure efficient operations.
• Coordinate with warehouse managers to optimize storage.
• Facilitate problem resolution related to shipping and delivery.
• Develop contingency plans for potential supply chain disruptions.
• Monitor logistics costs and implement cost-saving measures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management

Technical Skills

• Supply Chain Software

• Team Leadership
• Negotiation Skills

Advantageous

• Certifications in logistics or supply chain management: Relevant certifications such as APICS or CILT will be advantageous.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans is a plus.
