Job Description

As a Pharmacist with Pharmacy Innovations in Durban, you will be responsible for assisting patients with medication management and providing exceptional healthcare advice. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure accurate prescription dispensing and maintain high standards of pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities

• Dispense, compound, and prepare medications as per prescription.
• Counsel patients on potential drug interactions and side effects.
• Document patient information and maintain medical records.
• Conduct medication therapy management and compliance checks.
• Support health promotion initiatives and disease prevention programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor and report on medication-related problems and adverse reactions.

• Knowledge of advanced pharmacy practices: Understanding of current trends in pharmacy practice and patient care.
• Fluency in Afrikaans or Zulu: Bilingual candidates with Afrikaans or Zulu proficiency preferred.
