UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We're searching for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic design team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating user-friendly interfaces and an eye for detail. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to design intuitive and engaging experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from ideation through to delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into user-friendly designs.
• Utilize analytics to inform design decisions and improvements.
• Participate in user interviews to gain deep insights into user needs.
• Provide support for development teams during the implementation phase.
• Create and maintain a design system to promote consistency.
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
• Master's degree in User Experience Design is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a relevant design role

• Sketch
• Usability Testing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with design systems: Ability to create and maintain design systems for consistency.
