Job Description

As a Construction Project Manager, you will lead and manage key construction projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation, compliance with regulations, and clear communication among team members. Your role will be pivotal in driving project success and fostering a collaborative team environment in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings and maintain ongoing communication with team members.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Oversee procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
• Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Conduct project evaluations and assessment of results.
• Ensure effective time management and resource allocation.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure project compliance with environmental regulations.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff and contractors.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management
