Job Description

We are on the hunt for an Urban Planner to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop plans, policies, and regulations that shape the city's landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Lead urban planning projects from inception to completion.
  • Engage with the community to gather input and address concerns.
  • Research and implement best practices in urban development.
  • Design urban spaces that promote sustainability and community well-being.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local planning laws and regulations.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive project delivery.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or related field
  • Master's degree in Urban Development is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in urban planning or related sectors
