Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Fleet Manager to oversee our vehicle fleet in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing fleet usage to reduce costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fleet operations and maintenance activities.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest safety standards.
• Evaluate and implement cost-saving strategies across fleet operations.
• Work closely with logistics teams to streamline processes.
• Manage relationships with service providers and vendors.
• Monitor compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
• Foster a culture of safety and efficiency within the team.
• Conduct regular audits of fleet performance and report findings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Transport Management or related field
• Further qualifications in logistics are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in fleet or transport management
