Job Description

We're on the lookout for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team in Durban. In this role, you'll be instrumental in providing high-quality mechanical maintenance and support, ensuring our machinery operates at peak performance. The ideal candidate will have sound technical knowledge and practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design interiors for various projects including residential and commercial.
• Draft layouts and select finishes, furniture, and fixtures.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and furnishings.
• Maintain project budgets and financials.
• Work collaboratively with the marketing team on branding initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or Architecture is preferred
• Portfolio showcasing previous work is required

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in diverse design projects

Technical Skills

• Interior Design Software
• Project Management Tools

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Sustainable Design Certification is advantageous
• Interior Design Society Membership is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
