Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Non-Profit Program Manager to oversee our community engagement initiatives in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for our community members. You'll be responsible for leading projects, coordinating with volunteers, and ensuring effective implementation of our strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning sessions to define and align program objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
  • Evaluate community needs through surveys and focus groups.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to promote programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to budget constraints while maximizing program output.
  • Create detailed project timelines and track progress against goals.
  • Advocate for community needs in discussions with local government and funders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Community Development or a related field
  • Master's degree in Social Work or related area is preferred
