Job Description

Seeking a compassionate Social Worker for a vital role in Pretoria, focused on addressing the social needs of individuals and families. This position involves assessing client needs, developing support plans, and facilitating access to resources. Strong interpersonal skills and community knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plans for program expansion and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve organization-wide goals.
  • Report regularly on program status to the Executive Director and Board.
  • Manage project timelines and timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of program staff.
  • Lead community forums to gather feedback and enhance programs.
  • Implement best practices in program delivery and evaluation.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior staff and volunteers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Non-Profit Management or related fields
  • Master's degree in Management or Public Administration is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within a non-profit organization
