We are seeking an Urban Planner to join our team in Cape Town. This role focuses on developing city infrastructure, zoning proposals, and community projects to promote sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have expertise in urban design, policy development, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create urban design guidelines for public spaces.
• Lead interdisciplinary project teams to achieve planning goals.
• Develop strategic plans aligning with city growth objectives.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
• Prepare reports on community needs and feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Urban Planning is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in urban planning or environmental policy
