Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Freight Forwarder to oversee the transportation of goods to and from various locations. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with regulations, manage logistics, and coordinate with carriers and clients. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the coordination of shipments from origin to destination.
• Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
• Develop strong relationships with carriers and partners to enhance service delivery.
• Analyze transportation costs and develop strategies for savings.
• Stay up-to-date with shipping regulations and industry best practices.
• Prepare detailed shipping reports and audits on a regular basis.
• Assist in training junior staff on best practices in freight forwarding.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in the freight industry

• Supply Chain Coordination

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
