Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be involved in various surveying projects across the region, using sophisticated equipment and technology to gather accurate data. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaboratively with other professionals in the construction and engineering fields.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct land surveys to determine and establish property boundaries.
  • Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys.
  • Coordinate with architects and civil engineers to execute projects successfully.
  • Utilize various surveying instruments and technology such as GPS, total stations, and GIS.
  • Analyze survey reports and data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to safety standards on all worksites.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Surveying is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of professional surveying experience
