E-commerce Specialist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an E-commerce Specialist to join our team in Pretoria. You will be responsible for executing effective digital marketing strategies to drive online sales and enhance customer engagement. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms and a passion for online retail.

Responsibilities

• Drive conversion optimization initiatives across the e-commerce platform.
• Engage in A/B testing and user testing to enhance the customer purchase experience.
• Monitor and analyze website traffic and sales patterns to inform marketing decisions.
• Support the development of online merchandising strategies.
• Foster partnerships with online influencers to broaden reach and drive engagement.
• Lead initiatives to improve customer retention through targeted marketing strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
• Master's degree in E-commerce or Digital Marketing is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in e-commerce management roles

Technical Skills

• Email Marketing
• A/B Testing

• Team Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certification
• Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Shopify or WooCommerce: Experience with popular e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce is advantageous.
• Experience in influencer marketing: Proven track record of collaborating with influencers to drive sales.
