Job Description

We are looking for a Healthcare Administrator to manage and enhance our healthcare operations in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of healthcare regulations and experience in administration to ensure the efficient handling of patient information and the smooth operation of services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient records and ensure confidentiality is maintained.
  • Coordinate communication between healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Oversee scheduling and appointment systems for optimal patient flow.
  • Develop administrative policies to improve healthcare service delivery.
  • Handle patient inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Assist in the development of departmental budgets and financial reports.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators for the department.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or related field
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare environment
