Job Description

As a Dentist at Apex Dental Clinic, you will provide a full range of dental services and create tailored treatment plans for your patients. Your strong interpersonal skills and dedication to improving patient health will be instrumental in ensuring everyone leaves with a healthy smile.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough oral examinations to evaluate dental health.
  • Perform restorative and cosmetic dental procedures.
  • Collect and analyze diagnostic data, including X-rays.
  • Guide patients through treatment options and costs.
  • Engage in community outreach and education efforts.
  • Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment.
  • Supervise dental hygiene staff and support roles.
  • Implement patient feedback processes for service improvement.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical dental setting
Technical Skills
  • Brilliant clinical skills in general dentistry
  • Strong diagnostic skills
Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Certifications
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
  • CPR certification
